Privacy

Short version: we do not ask you for anything, we do not have an account system, and we do not know who you are. What follows is the longer version, because some of the tools this site uses do collect things.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter box, and no form on this site. We hold no names, no email addresses and no payment details, because we never ask for them and have nowhere to put them.

What our visitor counter collects

We count visits so we know which pages people read. The counter we use does not set cookies and does not follow you between websites. It records the page, the country, the kind of device, and where the visit came from. It does not record anything that identifies you personally.

Advertising

This site shows advertisements supplied by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, and those cookies may be based on your previous visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and elsewhere on the internet.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's ad settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Turning personalised ads off does not remove the ads. It makes them less relevant.

Links to shops

When you follow a link from this site to a shop, that shop sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Some of those links earn us a commission — see how we make money.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this page changes we will change it here. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
